OUR FIELD TRIP "HOLIDAY" IN DAVAO CITY, PHILIPINES
THE FIELD TRIP AT DAVAO CITY
A trip with our buddies
After from the museum we decided to go to magsaysay park to see the traditional tribal houses in davao city, not only enjoy the park there but we also see the ocean, ride a bicycle and buy food and fruit ice cream sold there.
After went to Magsaysay we decided to go to roxas night market, but before going there we decided to walk to china town first.
and finally we had dinner at roxas night market, we also met my friend from MSU Malaysia, ayunie there, there are many Muslim sellers there, so almost all the food there is halal. The food at roxas night market is very good and we are addicted to going back there.
Before finally going back to the main campus, we decided to walk because we wanted to go to city hall, so we walked from roxas to city hall. I would say thank you to our friend in Philipines (abi, mech, rudolf) because of them we can go walk around Davao city.
EDEN NATURE PARK AND RESORT DAVAO!
For the next field trip, on Saturday, September 30, we went to Eden Park, which is a nature reserve located about 1 hour from Davao City, Eden Park is a highland so the air there tends to be cooler and cooler than in Davao City, we can also see the beach from Eden Park, we went there with ULM students (hadad, emma, shofiya, zhulfah) also accompanied by Mrs. lolly.
We started our tour with a shuttle tour. We also had a tour guide in the shuttle tour car, and we learned that the Garden of Eden is very large and beautiful and still natural. During the tour, we stopped at several iconic areas in EDEN Park. Our first stop was the Amphitheater & Flower Garden. Since we first entered this area, we were presented with views of colorful flowers, including very beautiful sunflowers.
The second place we went to was Tinubdan, where we got to see one of the traditional tribal houses including the musical instruments, and the clothes worn by the tribe, it is an education for the people to appreciate their heritage (original culture of Mindanao).
Next stop is Lola's Garden, located in one of the most beautiful gardens in Davao City. Here we see flowers in the "well" and from here we can see Davao City and its beaches, because this is the highest point of the Garden of Eden. we also saw a lot of bamboo and eagles here.
what was quite surprising there, I could see peacocks that were just released, we also tasted "halo-halo" which was very delicious plus ube, we also didn't forget to take a photo in front of the words "I love Eden Park" and we went to enter into a small maze.
After there we returned to the starting point to prepare for lunch, there we could eat as much lunch as we like because the concept is "all you can eat".
